12 Tbsp Crisco or Spry
Blend Crisco with sugar then add eggs and blend again. Add baking
powder, vanilla, almond extract, and blend. Add flour and nuts. Mix
on medium speed until the dough is heavy. Take 1/3 of the dough and
make 3 logs on a cookie pan, packing them lengthwise and thick. Make
about 20 slices on each log, cutting at an angle halfway down the
dough. Before placing in oven, sprinkle with combined sugar and
cinnamon. |
