Boo-tiful Cupcakes Recipe
24 paper bake cups
1 18-ounce package cake mix
1 16-ounce container vanilla frosting
Orange food coloring
Halloween decorator sprinkles
1 cup white-chocolate morsels
2 teaspoons shortening (not butter or margarine)
Waxed paper
Chocolate sprinkles
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place bake cups in muffin pans; set aside. Prepare
cake mix following package directions for 24 cupcakes. Spoon batter into bake
cups. Bake as directed. Cool.
Tint frosting with orange food color; frost cupcakes. Sprinkle with decorator
sprinkles.
Melt white morsels following package directions. Add shortening; stir until
melted. Spoon melted morsels into ghost shapes on cookie sheet lined with wax
paper. Use chocolate sprinkles for eyes. Refrigerate until firm. Stand one ghost
in center of each cupcake.
Yield: 24 cupcakes
