White Chocolate Ice Cream
8 oz. whipping cream
4 ozs. milk
1/2 t. vanilla
6 oz. white chocolate, chopped
1 egg
3 T. sugar
In a saucepan, heat the cream and milk until very hot but not
boiling.
Melt the chocolate in the microwave until fully melted and then add
to the cream and milk along with the vanilla essence.
Beat the eggs and sugar together until they are pale yellow and
fluffy and then pour the cream mixture over them and mix well.
Return the mixture to the heat and stir until it begins to thicken
and coats the back of a wooden spoon. Allow to cool and then follow
the instructions in your ice cream maker to complete the dish. |
