Chicken Fruit Salad Recipe
6 oz. macaroni (uncooked)
3 C. cubed chicken (cooked)
2 T. onion (chopped)
1 t. salt
1 1/2 C. celery (chopped)
1 1/2 C. green and/or red grapes
1 C. mandarin orange (drained)
1/2 cup almonds (slivered or sliced)
1 C. mayonnaise
1 C. whipping cream
Cook macaroni according to package directions, drain and rinse.
In a cool bowl whip the cream until stiff peaks can be formed, set aside. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except some of the almonds and whipped cream, mix until all ingredients are just covered by the mayonnaise. Fold in the whipped cream, spoon into your serving platter or bowl.
Sprinkle the remaining almonds as garnish.
