Herb-Glazed Turkey Slices
1 1 1/4 lb pkg turkey breast slices
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup apple juice
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon rosemary
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon water
hot cooked brussels sprouts and carrots -- optional
In a large skillet, brown turkey slices in oil. Combine broth, apple
juice, honey, mustard, salt, basil, rosemary and garlic powder; pour
over turkey. Cover and simmer for 8 minutes or until the turkey is
no longer pink. Mix the cornstarch and water; stir in skillet. Cook
and stir until thickened and bubbly. Serve with brussels sprouts and
carrots if desired. |
