Raspberry Torte Recipe

Raspberry Torte
1 1/2 C. vanilla wafers
1/3 C. butter, melted
1 1/2 C. sifted powdered sugar
1/4 C. of butter, softened
2 eggs or 1/2 C. of egg substitute
1 envelope of Dream Whip
1 pkg.(10oz.) raspberries, partially thawed
First, crush the vanilla wafers. Mix crumbs with the 1/3 cup melted butter.
Press on bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Cream 3/4 cup of the powdered sugar
with softened butter until light and fluffy. Beat in egg substitute or eggs, one
at a time. Gradually beat in remaining sugar.
Prepare Dream Whip as directed on the package; fold into egg mixture. Crush raspberries with a fork. Spread a 1/2 inch layer of Dream Whip mixture in pan. Top with raspberries, spreading evenly. Add remaining Dream Whip mixture.
Freeze until firm-6 hours or overnight. Let stand at room temperature,5-10 minutes before serving.
