Peanut Butter Fingers
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup quick rolled oats
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 cup flour
6 ounces chocolate chips
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup peanut butter
4 tablespoons evaporated milk
Cream well the butter, sugar, oats, brown sugar and vanilla. Blend
in egg (unbeaten), baking soda, and 1/3 c. peanut butter. Stir in
flour and spread mixture into greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350�F
for 20-25 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and let stand 5
minutes; spread melted chocolate evenly over surface. Combine
powdered sugar, peanut butter and milk. Mix well and drizzle over
pan. Cool and cut into bars. |
