Butter Confectionary Candy

1 pound powdered sugar
1/4 pound butter (1/2 cup)
1/2 package shredded coconut meat
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup maraschino cherries - chopped and drained, well

Mix together sugar and butter by hand until completely creamed. Add coconut, walnuts and cherries. Stir into creamed mixture.

Shape small portions of mixture into desired shape by hand. If desired dip into chocolate; dry.

Decorate with candied fruit or walnuts.

Yield: 4 dozen.
