Peppermint Crunchies Candy
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon light corn syrup
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup nuts, chopped
1/2 cup chopped peppermint candies
1/4 tablespoon peppermint extract
Line a 13x9x2-inch baking pan with wax paper; set aside. Combine
evaporated milk, sugar and corn syrup in a large saucepan. Bring to
a boil, stirring constantly. Cook for 2 minutes; remove from heat.
Add chocolate chips; stir until melted. Cool for 10 minutes. Stir in
nuts, candy and extract. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto baking sheet.
Let stand until firm. |
