No-Bake Sugarplum Balls Recipe
1 C. candied pineapple, chopped
1 C. dried apricots, chopped
1 C. nuts, finely chopped
1 T. grated orange zest
1/2 C. orange liqueur (Grand Marnier)
1/4 C. butter, softened
1/4 C. dry milk powder
1/4 C. light corn syrup
3 C. vanilla wafer crumbs
Sifted powdered sugar
Combine the first 5 ingredients in a medium bowl. Cover and let stand for 1
hour.
Beat butter, dry milk, and corn syrup in large bowl of electric mixer. Stir in cookie crumbs and fruit mixture.
Form into 1-inch balls, using about a tablespoon of mixture. Roll in powdered sugar. Air dry, then store in airtight containers.
Will keep up to a month or longer in a cool place.
