Kahlua Pecan Pie
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/3 cup white sugar
3 large eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup dark Karo syrup
1/4 cup Kahlua
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all the ingredients until well
mixed. Pour the mixture into an unbaked 9-inch pie crust. Bake for
30 to 35 minutes or until set. Check oven after 25 minutes; if crust
is getting too brown, remove pie from oven and carefully add foil to
the edges. Then bake 5 to 10 minutes more. Cool on a wire rack. |
