Iron Springs Cafe Tudie's Barbecue Shrimp
2 sticks butter
2 T. garlic, minced
2 oz. Worcestershire sauce
1 T. Tabasco sauce
1 T. Creole seasoning
1 T. black pepper
1 T. parsley, chopped
1 T. green onion, sliced
4 T. A.1. steak sauce
1 lb. jumbo shrimp, in shell
4 T. olive oil
Place butter in a saucepan; melt over low to medium heat. Add garlic,
Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, Creole seasoning, black pepper, parsley,
green onion and A.1. steak sauce. Set aside.
Heat olive oil in a pan. Carefully add shrimp; cook on both sides until shells
turn red, about 1 minute. Add sauce, then simmer 2 minutes, turning to coat.
Serve in shallow bowls with plenty of bread and napkins.
