Red Bean's Bayou Grill Shrimp Piquant
(rock'n hot)

2 T. vegetable oil
1 C. diced onion
1 C. diced celery
1 C. diced green pepper
1 C. diced tomatoes
1 C. tomato sauce
1 t. salt
2   t. garlic
1/2 t. white pepper
1/2 t. black pepper
1/4  t. cayenne pepper
1  t. minced fresh jalapenos
1 T. Tabasco
1  C. of chicken broth
1 lb. Raw pealed and deveined shrimp

1) place oil in pan and add all ingredients except shrimp and simmer for 10-15 minutes.

2) add raw shrimp and simmer for only five minutes. Serve over white rice or 'dirty' rice.
