Walker's Broccoli Cauliflower Salad

1 medium head cauliflower, cut into florets
1 pound broccoli, cut into florets
1 small red onion, sliced
1 cup shredded carrots
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups mayonnaise
1/2 cup sugar
Salt to taste
Ground white pepper to taste

Place cauliflower, broccoli, onion and carrots in bowl with cheese and toss well.

In separate bowl, combine mayonnaise with sugar. Combine with broccoli mixture. Add salt and pepper to taste and mix well. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.

Makes 8 servings.
