Graveyard Dessert Delight
2 1/4 C. chocolate wafer cookie crumbs
1/2 C. sugar
1/2 C. butter melted
8 oz. cream cheese softened
12 oz. whipped topping thawed
2 C. boiling water
1 large orange flavor gelatin
1/2 C. cold water
ice cubes

To make the crust, mix 2 cups of the cookie crumbs, 1/4 sugar and the butter in
a 9 x 13 inch pan. Press firmly into bottom of pan. Refrigerate.
Beat the cream cheese and remaining 1/4 C. sugar together until smooth. Stir in
half of the whipped topping. Spread evenly over crust.
Add boiling water to gelatin, stir until completely dissolved. Add cold water
and ice cubes, stirring until slightly thickened. Remove any remaining ice.
Spoon over cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate for 3 hours until firm. Spread
remaining whipped topping over gelatin, just before serving. Sprinkle with the
remaining cookie crumbs to look like dirt.
Decorate the cookies to look like tombstones. Stand the tombstones on top of
cake to resemble a graveyard. Decorate with the candy corn and pumpkins.
Serves 15.
