Cheesecake Ice Cream

4 ounces Philadelphia Cream Cheese
2 cups cream
1 egg
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup cold whole milk
The crumbs of 3 Graham crackers
2 teaspoons lemon zest

1. Place milk in a saucepan and bring it to a boil, then lower heat to a simmer.
2. Let cream cheese sit and soften, then beat together with sugar.
3. In a separate bowl beat the vanilla extract and egg.
4. Slowly add egg and vanilla mix to the cream cheese and sugar.
5. Remove milk from heat and add to the mixture.
6. Place new mixture back into saucepan and place on medium heat, stirring constantly with a whisk.
7. After a few minutes of stirring, strain contents from bowl into a new clean bowl.
8. Set bowl aside to cool, then add the lemon zest and cream.
9. Place in container and freeze.
