Coffee-Fudge Ice Cream Cake
1 Oreo pie crust
1 egg white
1/4 C. sliced almonds
1/3 C. chocolate fudge sauce
1 quart coffee ice cream, softened
Extra fudge sauce for serving
Preheat oven to 375�F.
Brush pie crust with egg white. Bake 5 minutes, remove from oven and
set aside to cool. While crust is baking, place almonds in a small
pan and place in oven for 5 to 7 minutes until lightly toasted.
Remove from oven and set aside to cool.
When crust has cooled, drizzle with 1/2 of the fudge sauce. Spread
with softened ice cream. Drizzle with the remainder of the fudge
sauce and top with toasted almonds. Place in freezer until firm.
Slice and serve with extra fudge sauce.
Makes 6 to 8 servings. |
