Maple Pecan Ice Cream 1/2 cup maple syrup 4 egg yolks 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla 1 1/2 cups cream 1/2 cup pecans, chopped Warm syrup and slowly pour over egg yolks, whisk well. (Don't cook the eggs, add a small amount of syrup at a time.)
Cool, add salt, vanilla and whipped cream.
Beat thoroughly and freeze according to directions of ice cream maker.
