Vanilla Custard Ice Cream 1 cup half and half 3/4 cup sugar 4 egg yolks 2 cups whipping cream 1 tablespoon vanilla Combine half and half, sugar and yolks in medium saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, over low heat, until bubbles form around edge of mixture.
Chill, then pour into cream canister. Stir in whipping cream and vanilla, then freeze.
