Pork Ribs and Kraut 4 pounds pork spare ribs 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 3 pounds fresh sauerkraut, rinsed and drained 1/2 cup apple sauce Heat the oil in a skillet and brown the ribs.
Mix the sauerkraut and apple sauce together.
Layer the ribs and kraut in the crockpot.
Cover and cook on low about 8 hours.
