Oven-Roasted Potatoes Recipe

   

Oven-Roasted Potatoes 
 
2 large baking potatoes (about 10 ounces each)
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Salt and black pepper

Preheat oven to 425�F.

Scrub potatoes; do not peel. Thinly slice potatoes crosswise. Pat potato slices dry with paper towels.

Place potatoes in medium bowl. Add butter and oil; toss to coat. Place on nonstick baking sheet.

Bake 10 minutes or until tender and lightly browned, stirring lightly after 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Makes 4 servings
