Cookies
Bake a wedding related sugar cookie and decorate. For one wedding I made cookies that resembled a wedding cake. Decorate with the colors from the wedding. Buy the appropriate size bag at a cake decorating store and tie with a ribbon.
You could also do a shower game with these. After everyone gets there give everyone a cookie. On the cookie will be a clue to something wedding related. They will have to see what everyone else has on their cookie to solve the puzzle. Remember the old rhyme for elementary school, X and X sitting in a tree, KISSING! First came love, then came marriage, then came X with a baby carriage.
Depending on the number of guests would depend on how you would break the rhyme up on the cookies. You could put the bride and grooms name on a 2 cookies. Put a K on one, I on another, S and so on. If you spell out too many of the words it will get confusing. For the rest of the cookies, I'd use a whole word. It will definitely produce some giggles as they try to figure it out. The first one with the correct answer is the winner.
Candy Kisses Roses
For each candy rose, spread "Safe Confectioners' Glue"* on
bottom of one red foil-wrapped Hershey's Kisses Milk Chocolate. Firmly press the
bottom of another Kiss to it. Insert florist wire into one pointed end of double
Kisses. Wrap 4-inch square of clear cellophane around double Kisses, twisting
cellophane tightly around Kisses. Starting at bottom of rose, wrap florist tape
around edges of cellophane, continuing down the full length of wire with tape.
Add 1 or 2 artificial leaves, if desired, securing leaves in place with florist
tape. Tie candy roses together with bow.
