Luck of the Irish Stew

1 head cabbage, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
5 Irish potatoes, chopped
5 carrots, chopped
1 can corned beef
2 C. water
Salt and pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients in a large pot and cook over medium heat until potatoes and carrots are tender.
