Celebrity Party
No matter what age we are, it can be great fun to do a little dressing up and assume another character for the evening. It can certainly help to break the ice! With this in mind, you might like to suggest a fancy dress party with a celebrity theme to celebrate your young teenagers birthday. The good thing about a celebrity party is that it gives partygoers such a diverse choice of outfits they can adopt the persona of anyone in the limelight from pop star to politician. Some suggestions for celebrities include:
James Bond The smooth and sophisticated look for the guy who likes the
idea of dressing up.
Liam Gallagher The just got out of bed look - for the guy who likes the idea
of dressing down!
Victoria Beckham The Posh girl of pop with the sleek and trendy look.
Madonna The superstar with so many looks but the rhinestone cowgirl is the
latest!
Ali G The casual comic with the wicked look.
Britney Spears Sugar sweet in denim or designer wear.
Charlies Angels Choose a glamorous high-kicking heroine to emulate.
Austin Powers Wear something psychedelic and a chest wig baby!
Decorations:
Helium filled balloon always look great at any party.
Create your own Tinsel Town raid the Christmas box and hang up lengths of
glittery tinsel
String Christmas tree lights along the walls.
Make huge foil stars and hang them from the ceiling.
Put up celebrity posters.
Games:
Charades eternally popular and great fun too!
Guess the celebrity contestants have the name of a celebrity written on their
forehead (use an eye pencil or something that will wash off easily, or use
post-it notes instead). The idea is to identify who they are supposed to be by
asking questions of the other guests.
Pass the bottle Divide the guests into two teams. The idea is to pass a bottle
using just the knees (no hands whatsoever) along the team, all the way to the
other end. Whichever teams does it in the fastest time will win. If the bottle
is dropped, it must be retrieved once again using only knees.
