Nachum Segal Stuffed Steak Recipe

Nachum Segal Stuffed Steak - meat

Serves 3 - 4

1 Rib Steak (1 inch thick or more)
2 Tbs. Margarine
2 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup celery, chopped
1/4 cup mushrooms, chopped
1/2 cup onions, minced
1/2 cup bread crumbs

Sauce

1/2 cup red wine
1 Tbs. soy sauce
1 Tbs. Hot horseradish

Cut a deep pocket into the side of the steak, making sure not to cut all the way through. (cut along the non-fat side).

Melt margarine in a frying pan.

Saut� garlic, celery, mushrooms, and onion for 2-3 minutes until just cooked; remove from heat.

Add bread crumbs to vegetable mixture; and fill pocket with the mixture and secure with toothpicks or skewers.

Combine sauce ingredients; and spoon some over the stuffed steak.

Place steaks in a preheated pan or grill, baste constantly until steak is cooked as desired. Great on a barbecue.
